In English: Helix = geometrical figure in three dimensions which starts in a bend and turns around its own axis in a screw- like form. Helix forms and its appellation occurs in DNA- molecules, organic fibers, ivy (hedera helix), staircases etc. Helix Nebula, also called the Eye of God, is the name of a planetary nebula. The name was given because of the spiral- shaped dust- trace after the dead star NGC 7293.
